BINOCULARS VS. TELESCOPES
WEIGHING THE PROS AND CONS

SIX IMPORTANT POINTS:

  1. Research has shown that when it comes to viewing distant objects, two eyes
aredefinitely better than one. Binoculars give the brain twice as many signals
in seeing the final image, improving by 40% the ability to perceive color
    and contrast.
  2. By using both eyes, you can view for much longer periods more comfortably
because there is no need to squint, thus eliminating eye fatigue.
  3. Stereovision of binoculars is better for general viewing than the
tunnel vision of a single barrel telescope.
  4. Two huge lenses double the light-gathering power of giant binoculars over a
single-barrel telescope. This makes binoculars superior for viewing of land
and sky where you can see much brighter and sharper images in detail, as
well as providing a broader swath of the night sky for stargazing.
  5. Binoculars have a wide field of view shows a much bigger area than the
narrower field of view from a telescope.
  6. Giant binoculars are truly practical and become an irresistible piece of furniture,
drawing viewers to it. Being so easy to use and alluring, they are unlike most
telescopes, which become merely decorative objects that collect dust.
